CORPORATE RUN T-SHIRT
OVERVIEW
Every year, companies all around Fort Lauderdale, Florida compete in a Corporate Run. Not only are there winners of the race, but there's also a t-shirt competition. There are three categories the team can win: most colorful, best use of the city, and best use of company's logo. The goal of this t-shirt was to win the category of most colorful. Ubicquia, Inc. is a smart technology company that transforms existing streetlights, utility poles, and transformers into intelligent infrastructure. This was completed during my spring co-op rotation at Ubicquia, Inc.

It started with research of the company's past t-shirt designs as well as past winners of all the categories. This helped to see what was done in the past and what the judges might be looking for.

There was much exploration during this process, through typeface choices, colors, graphics, and layout. The design being tech related and include data points was crucial in order to reflect and image of what the company does.

After many revisions and exploration, it was decided that adding colors would better the chances of winning the most colorful t-shirt for the contest. The reasoning for the numbers and graphics in the design is to best describe what the company does. The lines and squares represent datapoints and the graphics include a utility pole and a streetlight as those are technologies that the company sells smart technology for.
