OVERVIEW
Aspen is a cozy soups and chili restaurant nestled in the heart of Breckenridge, Colorado. It's located on Main St. right down the road from Breckenridge Ski Resort. At Aspen, you can find community, enjoy a welcoming environment, and experience local roots. It's open late to serve those who just finished their last ski down the Colorado mountains and need a delicious pick-me-up. Produced a menu, postcard, stickers, and social media feed to support the restaurant's brand identity.

WORDMARK PROCESS
Aspen’s core values center around being welcoming, fostering community, and celebrating local roots. The restaurant is designed to be a gathering place for visitors, whether skiers or those simply seeking connection with others. Since the name is inspired by the aspen trees found at the mountain peaks, I explored ways to incorporate natural elements such as a leaf into the wordmark. The use of soft, rounded edges was intentional, creating a friendly and inviting feel that reflects the atmosphere Aspen strives to offer.
FINAL WORDMARK
The geometric and smooth feeling of the wordmark helps to reflect its welcoming environment and inviting to those who are seeking community. The letterforms mimic snow pile up and angular ski slopes.
BRANDING APPLICATION
As someone who loves collecting postcards when traveling, I wanted to create brand applications that feel like small, memorable keepsakes. Postcards are a timeless way to bring a piece of a trip home, while stickers offer a versatile and fun collectible that can be placed anywhere. To extend this idea digitally, the brand’s Instagram feed functions as a modern postcard wall featuring curated snapshots and stories that capture the same spirit of memory and connection in a shareable, visual format.
